Abstract
A directed-energy weapon (DEW) emits energy in an aimed direction without the means of a projectile. A DEW transfers the energy to a target for the desired effect. Most DEWs rely on electromagnetic waves or subatomic particles that impact at or near the speed of light. The energy can be delivered in various forms:
Electromagnetic radiation (e.g., radio frequency devices, microwave devices), light radiation (lasers, microwave amplification by stimulated emission of radiation [MASER]), particles with mass (e.g., particle beam weapons), and sound (e.g., sonic weapons).
They hit a target at the speed of light (at the speed of sound for auditory weapons), they are line-of-sight weapons, the price of use is typically a fraction of what it costs to fire a missile or a large gun, they can fire multiple times without reloading, and they are able to engage different targets rapidly because of their instantaneous effects and the ease of reaiming them.

ABSTRACT
The United States needs to incorporate the defense against directed energy weapons with the same intensity used developing anti-ballistic missile defenses. One of the major drawbacks to optical or directed energy systems is the inability to penetrate clouds or dense fog.
Advances in technology are beginning to bring weather phenomena under our control.
Greatly increased computing power and micronized delivery systems will allow us to create specific perturbations in local atmospheric conditions. These perturbations allow for the immediate and lasting ability to create localized fog or stratus cloud formations shielding critical assets against attack from energy based weapons. The future of nanotechnology will enable creation of stratus cloud formations to defeat DEW and optically targeted attacks on United Sates assets.
Directed Energy Weapons High Energy Lasers (HEL) and High Power Microwaves (HPM) are currently the primary methods of directed energy attack.
Both of these categories break down further into the methods of creating the laser or microwave energy as well as transmission and control of the beams. It is the expectation that within the next 15 years, these types of DEW will become increasingly common on the battlefield.15 Department of Defense (DOD) interest in directed energy programs spans from the tactical to strategic uses on the ground and in space.16 HEL and HPM technologies have different methods of effectiveness on their target.
HELs apply high temperatures on the surface, destroying their target.
Lasers can also cause disorienting effects on the operator of their target.17
HPMs affect the internal circuitry of the target or internal tissues of the operators.18
HEL – High Energy Laser
Ground based HEL systems may be used against airborne and space based targets. Space and airborne lasers can be employed against fielded maneuver forces as well as strategic locations such as governmental facilities, headquarters, and operations centers.21
In both cases, the laser “beam” must travel through the atmosphere to the target.
The future of laser technology is expected to produce approximately 10 million watts by the year 2030.22
At this power level the contact area of an aircraft’s aluminum skin can exceed 1500° F within a second, causing its destruction.23
Laser weapons require approximately a second of target tracking time, nearly negating the requirement to continuously track a target.
Superheating the target requires getting the laser to the target.
With the exception of space to space employment of lasers, the beam energy must travel through the earth’s atmosphere. Lasers have to deal with refraction, reflection and absorption during their short time of flight.
The difference between HEL and HPM occurs in the frequency/wavelength of electromagnetic spectrum as well as the size or coherence of the propagated energy. HPM is not employed in a tight, coherent beam of energy. HPM are “shot” as a broad region of energy waves.

Human exposure to HPM radiation is hazardous: HPM has heat effect and non-heat effect on human body. To do this, a high energy laser can emit electromagnetic energy with a wavelength the target material absorbs most effectively, melting the material.

Abstract
A dozen or more orbiting solar generators stay in constant touch. They can be congregated rapidly in space at any desired secret location. Once congregated they all focus their energy to a death star. This death star is a newly launched ICBM with a microwave or laser collector.
A laser generator uses this huge energy to project a non-nuclear death ray to a target. The target could be a city, a ship or a satellite.
In the event of an asteroid approaching earth, this system could destroy an asteroid.
Even this knock out scenario is not a fatal blow to the system. Since one cell can power a city of 80,000, a dozen cells could power a city of a million people. This system could focus a dozen (or more) cells at a target, such as a city, and produce the equivalent of Sherman's march through Georgia, all in a non-nuclear manner using microwave energy.
Another group, sponsored by The Discovery Channel, conducted land—based tests last year,
sending a microwave beam from solar collectors on a mountaintop in Maui, Hi.
The beam was transmitted about 90 miles, or the equivalent of the distance it would have to penetrate from space. The transmission was successful but sent only about 20 W with a limited setup.

I remember that even in the California fires of say 7 years ago, the firefighters saying those were not normal burning fires, they were much much hotter. At the time it was attributed (by some) to chemtrails metallic elements. Beserker military, out to kill the citizens, for a long while now. Who would have guessed, when you teach killing, (even remote killing), they learn and do!
